July 21, and 22, Paul Mckenzie carried out a training camp with Finn class sailors. Every day they had races based on water of Silver Cup; working on different courses, working with starts, pumping, etc. For new Finn class sailors, Paul demonstrated everything by himself in the boat; the right way to move, and make turns. After races Paul showed videos and shared training information. Everyone could discuss what to improve, exchange opinions, and relate experiences. The weather was excellent for this kind of training and for Moscow, the wind was 10 knots. In the first race, there were 15 boats, in the second – 19. Everybody was glad to have the experience of sailing with Paul. Paul Mckenzie is the Australian champion in Finn class. He sailed this type of boat from 1992 till 2004. Paul also took part in Olympic Games in 1996, where he placed 6th. In 2003 he took part in American Cup with the French team. Today he sails in the Star class and coaches Finn sailors.
